Resource Buildings
Resource Buildings manage different aspects of your resource production and storage. The more Resource Buildings you have and the higher their Level, the more Resources you can produce, accumulate and spend. You'll need Resources for Haven development and Unit production.
Your Rum Distilleries produce Rum to keep up your crew's morale and keep them from deserting. Each Rum Distillery produces a certain quantity of Rum per hour, depending on its upgrade Level. You may build a total of 6.
To build a Rum Distillery:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select the Rum Distillery.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start construction.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Etchings to upgrade it further. Etchings can be acquired from the Smuggler's Den.
Each upgrade of the Windmill increases the total production of your Rum Distilleries by 5%.
To build the Windmill, you must research "Banking", then upgrade at least one Rum Distillery to Level 10. Then do the following:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click the "Construction" button.
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select the Windmill.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start construction. You can only build one Windmill.
Upgrading the Rum Cellar allows you to accumulate and store more Rum. A maximum of 3 Rum Cellars are allowed.
To build a Rum Cellar do the following:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and choose the Rum Cellar.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start construction.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Upgrade Etchings to upgrade it further. Upgrade Etchings can be acquired from the Smuggler's Den.
You will find several Stacks o' Lumber in your Haven at the beginning of the game. This is where you will collect Lumber (one of the three main Resources). You'll need Lumber to construct buildings, research Discoveries, and purchase new Units. To begin producing Lumber, build a Lumber Yard on a Stack o' Lumber. The number of Stacks o' Lumber is random for each Haven, so you may have to trade to meet your needs.
Lumber Yards are places where Lumber is produced.
To build a Lumber Yard:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select Lumber Yard.
4. Place the Lumber Yard over a Stack o'Lumber (the undeveloped areas inside your Haven at the beginning of the game - your building marker will turn green once placed over the appropriate Resource Field) and start building.
You can build as many Lumber Yards as there are Stacks o'Lumber inside your Haven. Build the Sawmill to further increase Lumber production.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Upgrade Etchings to upgrade it further. Upgrade Etchings can be acquired from the Smuggler's Den.
The Sawmill increases the total Lumber production of your Lumber Yards by 5% with each Level upgrade. The maximum upgrade Level is 5. You must discover "Manufacturing" and upgrade one Lumber Yard to Level 10 before you can unlock the Sawmill. You can construct only one Sawmill inside your Haven.
To build the Sawmill:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select the Sawmill.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start building.
You will find several Gold Ores in your Haven at the beginning of the game. This is where you will be extracting Gold (one of the three main Resources). You need Gold to fund the construction of buildings, research Discoveries, and to purchase new Units. To begin mining Gold, build a Gold Mine on the Gold Ore. The number of Gold Ores is random for each Haven, so you may have to trade to meet your needs.
Gold Mines produce magical ships powered by the laughter of drunken Pirates - but primarily they produce Gold.
To build a Gold Mine:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select Gold Mine.
4. Place the Gold Mine over a Gold Ore (The undeveloped areas inside your Haven at the beginning of the game. Your building marker will turn green once placed over the appropriate Resource Field.) and start building.
You can build as many Gold Mines as there are Gold Ores inside your Haven. Build the Goldsmith to further increase Gold production.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Upgrade Etchings to upgrade it further. Upgrade Etchings can be acquired from the Smuggler's Den.
The Goldsmith helps you use your Gold more efficiently, increasing your total Gold production by 5% with each Level upgrade. It can be upgraded to a maximum Level of 5. You must Discover "Mercantilism" and upgrade one Gold Mine up to Level 10 before you can unlock the Goldsmith.
To build the Goldsmith:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and choose the Goldsmith.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start building.
You can only build one Goldsmith.
The maximum amount of Gold and Lumber you can collect is limited by the capacity of your Warehouses. You can increase your Resource capacity by upgrading your Warehouse.
To build a Warehouse:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" tab and select the Warehouse.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and start construction.
The number of Gears you can store is limited by your Warehouse capacity. Upgrade your Warehouse to store more Gears.
After you have upgraded this Building to a certain level, you will need Upgrade Etchings to upgrade it further. Upgrade Etchings can be acquired from the Smuggler's Den.
The Royal Cannon sinks passing ships foolish enough to sail too close to your Haven. These wrecks provide your salvage crews enough scavenged Gold and Lumber to increase your total production by 5% with each Level upgrade. The Cannon will be destroyed by enemy attacks if left undefended. It can be repaired to Level 1 in one minute, and requires no Resources or Rubies to upgrade.
You may build only 1 Royal Cannon.
To build the Royal Cannon do the following:
1. Go to your Haven.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Resource" buildings tab and select the Royal Cannon.
4. Choose a place inside your Haven and begin construction.
The Pirate's Den allows you to improve your Gold, Lumber, and Rum production and earn rewards by inviting Friends.
Open the "Statistics" tab to invite your Friends and receive rewards! The more Friends you invite that join the game and reach Level 15, the bigger the rewards you will receive!
SILVER COINS:
Amongst the rewards, you will also find a special item – Silver Coins. Use these Silver Coins to upgrade The Pirate's Den and improve your Resource production. You may upgrade the building to a maximum level of 10, which will provide a 20% increase to your Resource production.
You can earn rewards for:
1. Inviting Friends to join the game. Bear in mind that you will only get one reward per player invited – repeat invites will not be counted.
2. Each Friend that joins the game.
3. Each invited Friend that reaches Level 15 in the game.
You may only build 1 Pirate's Den. To build the Pirates's Den, do the following:
1. Go to your Haven and click the "Construction" menu.
2. Open the "Resource" tab and select The Pirate's Den.
3. Choose a place inside your Haven and start construction.
